We design, fabricate, and supply a wide range of food processing machinery manufactured using high-quality raw materials and precision-engineered components. Widely used across the food industry, these machines are known for their high efficiency, reliable performance, and cost-effective operation. All machines feature a sturdy, compact design for long-term durability.
Husk removal is one of the most critical operations in the dal milling process. To prepare seeds, grains, pulses, lentils, and wheat for food processing, they are first cleaned to remove foreign materials. After cleaning, the hulls or outer husk layers are removed to make the grains suitable for further processing and consumption.
Emery Roller Machine is a machine used for de-husking pulses; therefore, this machine is sometimes called a Pulse Splitter. It is used in various pulse mills for pre-treatment and to obtain gota. The machine is operated by a motor, and the hopper is mounted at one end. The emery-coated roller rotates inside a screen. As the product passes through the screen, husks are removed and pulverized. The de-husked pulses exit through the outlet located at the other end of the machine.
Jas Enterprises offers a horizontal abrasive carborundum/emery stone grit roller cylindrical mill in various capacities. It is powered by an electric motor and designed for de-husking and splitting food legumes such as pigeon pea gram and black gram. The machine mainly consists of an emery-coated roller operating at 850–900 RPM with dal (splits) recovery of up to 74-75%. Although performance is similar to traditional miller machines, this unit is especially useful for small-scale dal production in villages and towns.
The Emery Roller is used for de-husking pulses, wheat, grains, corn, maize, rice, and more. It consists of a heavy-duty fabricated cover and structure. The roller rotates between precision bearings that reduce friction and ensure smooth performance. The entire unit is mounted on a robust "C" section channel frame for durability.
This machine has a simple construction and is easy to operate and maintain. The horizontal emery roller is enclosed by a screen. Pulses, rice, wheat, and maize are fed through the hopper and pass between the screen and the emery roller. Due to the controlled RPM, grains and pulses are effectively de-husked.
The Emery Roller Machine is used to remove impurities adhering to the surface of grains and pulses. It is also used after conditioning to remove husks loosened during the process. It can effectively process wheat, gram, whole lentils, toor dal, whole beans, green gram, moong, black gram, urad, and black pepper. The machine produces minimal powder and delivers maximum output.

You have a question? Someone else might have had the exact same one. Let's find out!
It is a machine designed for de-husking pulses, grains, and cereals. It removes the outer husk or shell to prepare food legumes like pigeon pea, gram, black gram, wheat, maize, and rice for further processing.
Husk removal is a critical step in dal milling and grain processing. It improves food quality, ensures better cooking, and enhances the efficiency of polishing and splitting processes.
It offers high efficiency with dal recovery up to 74 to 75%, consumes less power, and is ideal for small-scale production in villages and towns.
Grains or pulses are fed through a hopper into the emery-coated roller. As the roller rotates inside a screen, husks are removed and pulverized, while clean, de-husked grains exit through the outlet.
Pulses (toor dal, moong, urad, gram), cereals (wheat, maize, rice), lentils, beans, and spices like black pepper.
Jas Enterprise offers four models (JAS-HR-1 to JAS-HR-4) with varying roller sizes, capacities (400–2500 kg/hr), and motor requirements (5 HP to 20 HP).
Selection depends on your production scale:
Standard accessories include motor pulley and adjustable rail for fixing the motor. Optional accessories if required motors, circuit breakers, starters, and foundation bolts.
Yes. Its simple construction and heavy-duty bearings reduce wear and tear, making it easy to operate and maintain.
No. For models requiring 5 HP or above, only three-phase motors are supported. Single-phase setups are not suitable for these machines due to higher power demands.
